1. Who we are
Drive Finder SG (the “Service”) is a concierge matchmaking service operated by Uniq Labs Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”). We help learners in Singapore find private driving instructors for Class 3 and 3A vehicle licences.
2. What we deliver
For a fee of SGD $19 (the “Fee”), we will endeavour to deliver 2 to3 vetted, verified-available private driving instructor matches to the learner’s provided contact details within 7 days of request submission. “Delivery” is defined as: we send the learner at least 2 instructor contact details (name + phone number) via email, with confirmation that we have personally verified availability.
3. How payment works (important)
We use Stripe manual capture (auth-hold). By agreeing to these Terms and submitting a request, you authorize us to place a temporary authorization on your payment card for the Fee.
No money is transferred to us at this stage. The authorization is a hold only.funds remain in your account but cannot be spent elsewhere up to the Fee amount.
We will capture the authorization (i.e. actually charge you) only when we successfully deliver your matches as defined in Section 2.
If we do not deliver within 7 days, or we determine at any point that we cannot deliver qualified matches, we will void the authorization. You will not be charged, no refund is required, and the hold on your funds will be released by your bank (typically within a few business days, at your bank’s discretion).
4. What “delivered” means.and what’s non-refundable
Once we have delivered matches per Section 2, the Fee is considered earned and is
non-refundable. This includes cases where:
- You change your mind or decide not to proceed with lessons;
- You are unable to reach an instructor after we provide their contact details;
- An instructor becomes unavailable after we verify them;
- You do not pass your driving test.
If you believe we have materially failed to deliver as promised, please email us at hello@uqlabs.co within 7 days of receiving your matches and we will review your case individually.
5. No guarantee of lesson outcomes
We are a matchmaking service. We do not teach, schedule, or conduct driving lessons ourselves. All lessons are conducted directly between the learner and the instructor. We make no representation or warranty about instructor teaching quality, lesson availability, passing rates, or any other outcome once we have completed the match. Pass rates shown on our platform are sourced from publicly available Singapore Police Force data and are provided for information only.
6. Instructor relationship
Instructors listed on or matched through our service are independent professionals. They are not our employees, agents, or contractors. We do not receive commissions from instructors. Any dispute regarding lessons, payment to instructors, or instructor conduct should be raised directly with the instructor.
7. Your obligations
You agree to provide accurate information in your request. You agree not to use our service to harass instructors or submit fraudulent requests. We reserve the right to refuse service or void holds at our discretion for suspected abuse.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the Fee you have paid us. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
